Our Methods & Solutions

At Wellbeing Mental Health, we work closely with a wide range of cross-sector clients to provide a range of services – all of which equip organisations with the knowledge and skills to thrive.  We operate to the highest professional standards, and within the bounds of clinical responsibility. All of our services are evidence-based and designed and delivered by certified mental health professionals and business experts.

Our approach demystifies mental health in the workplace by bringing mental wellbeing programmes to life and making them sustainable. We instil staff with competence and confidence and build resilient workplace cultures that normalise conversations about mental health. We facilitate and enable early supportive interventions to restore mental wellbeing, reducing the human and financial cost burdens of presenteeism, absence and staff turnover.

We become a virtual extension of our client’s organisation. This gives them access to a wealth of qualified experience, guidance and knowledge. We develop bespoke education programs and provide an interface between employees and external mental health professionals to advise them on the most effective recovery pathways.

We offer a wide range of services to our clients, including:

  • Consultancy
  • Experiential learning programmes
  • Duty of Care
  • Keynotes & seminar

Consultancy

We partner with clients to develop and implement their mental health and wellbeing strategy. By providing independent subject matter expertise, best practice techniques and pragmatic frameworks, we help organisations to build the infrastructure and understanding for their employees to thrive.

Our approach demystifies mental health in the workplace by bringing mental wellbeing programmes to life and making them sustainable. We instil staff with competence and confidence and build resilient workplace cultures that normalise conversations about mental health. Duty of Care

With ‘duty of care’ being the foundation of our ethos, every workshop is delivered by two facilitators for client and delegate assurance. This always includes a Clinical Psychologist who offers an unrivalled depth of mental health expertise.

All our instructor-facilitators are accredited by the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH), are qualified and experienced in delivering Mental Health First Aid England (MHFA) courses and our Clinical Psychologists are registered with The Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC).

 Experiential learning programmes

At the core of our approach is a portfolio of interactive half-day, one-day and two-day workshops – all of which are supplemented by a selection of stand-alone keynote speeches, webinars and seminars. All workshops include a comprehensive delegate handbook and are underpinned by our e-learning and knowledge portal.  Our learning experiences are designed, developed and delivered by practicing Clinical Psychologists and Samaritans Listening Volunteers; this combines a wealth of academic knowledge and real-life practical expertise. They are carefully devised to ‘reframe how we think, feel and behave with regard to mental health and wellbeing’. Delegates benefit from a deeper understanding of mental health and a changed perspective. Our aim is to achieve mental health consideration and parity alongside physical health both in ourselves and others.

Our popular programmes include:

  • The Real Business Case for Mental Wellbeing
  • Looking at Mental Health through a Different Lens
  • Self-care is Not a Luxury … it’s a Necessity
  • Compassionate Listening
  • Mental Health for Millennials and Gen Z
  • Beyond Awareness – Develop Mental Health Understanding
  • Mental Health and Wellbeing for Managers
  • Mental Health Allies
  • Mental Health and Wellbeing for Human Resources
  • Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England

It provides for effective compassionate interventions, guiding delegates through the necessary stages to facilitate supportive conversations. It can be applied in the workplace with colleagues and associates, and is equally applicable for supporting loved ones, friends and family of any age. Furthermore, it can be applied to the general public for crisis intervention in support of complete strangers.
